Our Persian caviar masters regularly visit our production partner, Kaluga Queen, on-site to select the finest products for you. Kaluga Queen has now become the world's largest producer of farmed caviar, and we place unwavering trust in them.

Few products require as much precision, care, and expertise as caviar. Our pursuit of constant perfection and consistently high quality drives us and is our promise to our valued customers.

Our Caviar

In contrast to many other providers, our quality control starts with the selection of the fish. Only sturgeons from Kaluga Queen that meet our demanding standards are considered for caviar production. The final selection of our caviar is extremely demanding, as we have the unique privilege of being the first instance to choose the products for resale from an impressive quantity of over 70 tons of caviar. There is no question that our caviar masters only choose the very best.

In addition to the quality of the sturgeon eggs, their maturity, appearance, size, and color, individual customer preferences are crucial criteria for the production of Imperial Caviar. Our caviar masters carefully consider individual preferences, whether it's lighter, darker, more intense, or milder caviar – we always strive to meet the personal preferences of our customers.

Our Production

Our Kaluga Queen production facilities are located in the south of Shanghai, in the Zhejiang province. Here, the artificially created Qiandao Lake is supplied with fresh, cold water from the Huangshan Mountains, serving as a habitat for our cultivated sturgeons.

Modern and animal-friendly breeding conditions, along with short transportation routes, are just a few of the many outstanding features that distinguish Kaluga Queen's production. The sturgeons quickly make their way from the breeding tanks to the production site, where the fresh roe is processed into high-quality caviar using an ancient Persian recipe.

Upon arrival at our headquarters in Berlin, the final selection takes place, where the roe is hand-filled into our tins. The privilege of transferring original tins into smaller containers is granted to only a few merchants, and we are proud to be among the first companies given this permission.

We meticulously examine the various varieties of our fresh imported goods for temperature, appearance, aroma, consistency, and taste, classifying them based on the finest differences in flavor and color nuances. This allows every gourmet to choose their preferred caviar.

In addition to the utmost care, sustainability is a central part of our work. At Kaluga Queen, the entire sturgeon is utilized. Third-party businesses, for example, use the sturgeon's skin for leather production, and the fillets are offered as a delicacy. Each of our tins is labeled with a unique code, and every sturgeon has a distinct identification number, enabling traceability back to the individual animal.
